Congratulations to Race B

Following their success in the Gwent Final in Mid April they travelled to Aberystwyth last Sunday where they won the Welsh final of the Tesco U13 Cup.

They beat Central Wales & West Wales 2-0 in their group and then won 2 - 0 against North Wales Coast in the Final.

They will now represent Wales in the UK Finals at the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday 18^th May 2008.

Unfortunately Pontnewydd United girls were knocked out in the group stages of the girls competition having drawn 1 and lost 1.

It was a great achievement to win the Gwent Final and get to the national competition.  Well done girls.
